    Moldova is situated in South-East Europe between Romania and Ukraine. From north to south, the country has a 350 km long and from west to east a 150 km wide, what allows, finding you in the capital, Chisinau, to visit three countries - Moldova, Romania and Ukraine. By visiting the not recognized region of Transnistria with the capital, the city of Tiraspol, you will get acquainted with the Soviet past which was kept here.
    Moldova is a small, essentially agrarian country, with a population of 3 million inhabitants and is among the first 10 producing countries of wines of the world.
    The connoisseurs of wines, as well as the uninitiated people, can taste the collections of wines of the sellars of the locality of Milestii Mici, sellars who are recorded in the book of the records Guinness with a length of 120 km of underground galleries; basements of the city of Cricova, who were visited by numerous personalities, such as: Iurie Gagarin, the first cosmonaut of the world, the Russian president V. Putin, Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany, etc. To Cricova is the former collection of wine of Göring, big dignitary of Nazi Germany.

    Wines of the village of Romanesti were sent to the table of the czars of Russia, the Romanoffs, and are also exported all over the world. These wines look like the tastes of wines, Bordeaux products in France. You can convince yourselves by visiting these places. Wines of Purcari, appreciated  for their high quality, go on the table of the queen of England.
    The amateurs of dry classic red wines such as - Cabernet, Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Traminer, Sauvignon; Feteasca and Rara Neagra (renamed Moldavian wines) can savour  them to the company  Chateau Vartelly  (Castle Vartelly) which is near one very old town of Moldova.
The tourists can visit the famous Moldavian monasteries and churches in the

specific architecture such as those of Capriana, Condrita, Curchi, Cosauti including monasteries them rupestral Troglodyte, situated in a picturesque and original landscape of Orheiul Vechi (Old Orhei), Saharna, Tipova...
The interested people can admire the historic cities of the fortresses of the city of Soroca, built in XV s and of the city of Bender, the Struve Geodetic Arc, monument set under the protection of the UNESCO.
